Agreement to terms
By accessing or using rudyabitbol.com (the “Website”) or engaging the consulting, training and speaking services of Rudy Abitbol (“I”, “me” or “my”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or my services.
Services offered
- AI consulting: AI opportunity workshops, adoption sprints, fractional AI leadership and AI visibility audits for manufacturers, distributors and retailers.
- Team training: hands-on training so your people can use AI in their daily work.
- Speaking engagements: keynotes, workshops and panels at conferences and corporate events.
- Content and insights: articles, newsletters and educational resources.
Use of the Website
You may use the Website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- use the Website in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code;
- reproduce content without permission;
- use the Website to send spam or unsolicited communications.
Intellectual property
Website content
All content on the Website, including text, illustrations, logos, images and articles, is owned by me or my licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Client and partner logos belong to their respective owners.
Limited license
You may access and view Website content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works without prior written consent.
Engagement materials
Presentation materials, frameworks and proprietary content delivered in consulting, training or speaking engagements remain my intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients may use them for internal purposes only, unless a specific license is granted.
Speaking engagements
Booking and confirmation
Speaking engagements are confirmed when a signed agreement and any required deposit are received. Event details, including date, time, location and technical requirements, are set out in the engagement agreement.
Cancellation
- More than 60 days’ notice: full refund of any deposit.
- 30 to 60 days’ notice: 50% of the agreed fee may be retained.
- Less than 30 days’ notice: the full fee may be due.
- Force majeure: events cancelled for reasons beyond either party’s control will be rescheduled or refunded.
Recording and distribution
Recording, livestreaming or distributing a presentation requires prior written consent. Separate licensing terms may apply to recorded content.
Consulting engagements
Scope of work
Consulting engagements are governed by individual agreements that define scope, deliverables, timeline and fees. These Terms supplement, but do not replace, those agreements.
Confidentiality
I keep client business information, strategies and data shared during an engagement confidential. This obligation continues after the engagement ends.
Results and AI outputs
My advice is based on experience and good practice, but business outcomes depend on many factors beyond my control. I do not guarantee specific financial or business results. AI tools can produce inaccurate output: the solutions we build include human review, and your team remains responsible for decisions based on them.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. I do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that its information is complete, accurate or current.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website or services. My total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the fees paid for that service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold me harmless from claims, damages, losses or expenses, including legal fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Website or services.
Third-party links
The Website links to third-party websites. I am not responsible for their content, privacy practices or terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of Québec.
Dispute resolution
Before starting legal proceedings, you agree to first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, either party may pursue other remedies.
Changes to these terms
I may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on the Website.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the other provisions remain in full force.
